Man in 20s dies after Audi crash in Cornwall

A man has died after a car crash on a road in Cornwall, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the single-vehicle incident involving a black Audi A3 happened at about 03:30 BST on Sunday on the A388 in Treburley, near Launceston.

The force said the car had left the road and the driver - a man in his 20s from the Launceston area - was pronounced dead at the scene.

A police spokesperson added the A388 was closed for more than nine hours while initial investigations took place, and asked anyone who witnessed the crash or had relevant dashcam footage to contact the force.
