A pedestrian has been hit by a bus outside a hospital in Kent, police have said.

Emergency services were called to an incident at one of the entrances to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate at 16:04 BST on Thursday.

Officers from Kent Police were at the scene and Ramsgate Road was closed.

Drivers were advised to find alternative routes.
