A man has pleaded guilty to raping a teenager in a nature area.

The girl reported on 27 September that she had been attacked by a man she did not know in the Deadwater Valley area of Bordon, Hampshire.

Oliver Smith, 21, of South Hurst, Whitehill, admitted eight offences, including rape, attempting to rape a girl under the age of 16, making threats with a blade and breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

He has been remanded in custody to be sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court on 24 January.

Smith also pleaded guilty to two offences of false imprisonment, committing an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence and causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.
