Pensioner hurt after being hit by car outside hotel

A pensioner is in hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition after being hit by a car outside a hotel.
The collision happened on Friday at about 12:45 BST on Blackfriars Street, Hereford, outside a Premier Inn.
A Honda Jazz crashed into a woman in her 70s, police said.
West Mercia Police is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or the moments leading up to it.
The force, contacted by the BBC for more comment, said it was unable to offer additional detail at this stage, but confirmed there had been no arrests.
