Police investigate deliberate fire in Tain

Emergency services were called to a property on Mansfield Estate

Police are appealing for information after a house was deliberately set on fire in Tain.

Emergency services were called to Mansfield Estate at about 04:20 on Thursday.

Fires affecting a door and a window were extinguished. No-one was injured.

Police Scotland said it was treating the incident as wilful fire-raising, and has urged anyone with information or footage to get in touch.
