Justin Timberlake to perform at Essex venue

Justin Timberlake will be performing to up to 25,000 people in Essex.
The 10-time Grammy winner will headline at Chelmsford City Racecourse on 4 July 2025, as part of The Forget Tomorrow world tour.
Timberlake last took to the stage in Essex during V Festival, at Hylands Park, in 2014.
"Everyone has done an exceptional job in pulling this together and we can’t wait to see the public’s reaction," said the venue's commercial director, Nathan Holmes.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday morning.
"We’re determined to be the leading concert destination in Essex, if not the south-east, and compete with London venues," Mr Holmes told BBC Essex.
"Hopefully this is a real first step towards that."
Timberlake, 43, has sold more than 54 million albums and 63 million singles globally throughout his career.
His biggest hits include Can't Stop the Feeling, Cry Me A River and SexyBack and he is also known for his roles in the films The Social Network and Friends With Benefits.
Promoters Cuffe and Taylor said the show in Chelmsford, announced as one of four outdoor UK dates, would be an "amazing night".
"We hope it is the start of an exciting new relationship with the team at the racecourse," they said.
Other events listed in the UK include:
19 June 2025 - Isle of Wight Festival, Newport
26 June 2025 - Ormeau Park, Belfast
5 July 2025 - Lytham Festival, Lancashire
Earlier this month, Timberlake reached a plea deal to bring his drink-driving case in the US to an end.
The pop star made a public safety announcement outside court after pleading guilty to an offence of driving while impaired.
