Twenty people have been charged with various offences following violence before a football match between Norwich City and Ipswich Town earlier this year.

Several incidents occurred on 6 April at about 11:45 BST on Heathside Road, Cotman Road, Thorpe Road and Carrow Road in Norwich, "when a group of men and boys were verbally and physically aggressive towards each other", Norfolk Police said.

They said 20 males, ranging in age from teenagers to a 62-year-old man had been charged with offences including affray and causing fear or provocation of violence.

The defendants, from Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Suffolk and Warwickshire are due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on 6 or 10 December.
