Police warning over moped and motorbike thefts

Cambridgeshire Police said there had been several moped thefts around Wisbech

Police have issued a warning about mopeds and motorbikes being stolen around the Wisbech area.

Cambridgeshire Police said there had been several reports in the past few days, with some bikes successfully returned to their owners.

"We are now working hard to identify those responsible. With some progress already being made," the force said on social media.

Anyone with CCTV footage or information has been asked to get in touch.

In a message to residents, police said: "We believe that there may be crimes that have not been reported at this stage. It is essential that you do so we can put a stop to this."
