Gaelic broadcaster to be new Harris Tweed Authority chief

Broadcaster Fiona MacKenzie has been appointed chief executive of the Harris Tweed Authority (HTA).
Lewis-born MacKenzie is a commissioning editor at Gaelic media service MG Alba, and has co-hosted BBC Alba's coverage of the Belladrum Tartan Heart music festival near Beauly.
She will join HTA in March, taking over from Calum Iain MacIver who has been serving as interim chief executive since late last year.
The Stornoway-based authority promotes and maintains the authenticity, standard and reputation of Harris Tweed cloth.
The textile has legal protection and it must be handwoven by islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides using wool dyed and spun in the islands.
Ms MacKenzie said: "It is a great honour to be entrusted with leading the Harris Tweed Authority and I very much look forward to the challenge."
