A major road has reopened after a serious collision.

The A428 in Cambridgeshire was closed in both directions at 07:55 BST between the A1198 Caxton Gibbet Roundabout and the B1428 at St Neots.

Cambridgeshire Police said it was dealing with the incident between Croxton and Eltisley.

A spokesperson for the force said a diversion from Loves Farm Roundabout at St Neots was in place for traffic travelling towards Cambridge.
