A man is being held on suspicion of climbing on to the roof of a derelict pub and setting it alight.
Officers were called to the site of the former Mariners Rest pub on Albion Street, Grimsby, on Thursday at around 19:30 BST, Humberside Police said.
The man came down from the roof in the early hours of Friday morning.
