The UK Pantomime Association (UKPA) is set to celebrate the industry with their 2024 pantomime awards to be hosted in Guildford.

The ceremony at G Live on Tuesday evening will see 22 categories of awards including Best Dame and Best Villain.

For the third year of awards, UKPA's 70 judges visited 259 venues across the UK to see over 728 performances.

Simon Sladen, Chair of the UK Pantomime Association, said: "The pantomime industry has such a wealth of talent, which we’re proud to recognise and champion."

Beauty and the Beast at the Assembly Hall Theatre, Tunbridge Wells and Aladdin at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury are both nominated in several categories.

Mr Sladen added: "Congratulations to all the nominees and thank you to everyone who keeps audiences entertained up and down the country each festive season."
