Road closed after two-vehicle crash

The A345 is closed in both directions following a two-vehicle collision

A two-vehicle crash has forced the closure of part of the A345 in Wiltshire.

Wiltshire Police said officers were called to the scene at Newton, Enford, near Pewsey, at about 16:45 BST.

Closures were in place between B crossing and Enford crossroad, according to traffic monitoring site Inrix.

One person was taken to Southampton Hospital, police said.

Motorists were asked to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
