Man's death 'unexplained' after pub altercation

Police are treating the death of a man following an altercation outside a pub as "unexplained".
Mohammed Aerfan Qurban, 54, from Bradford, has been named locally as the victim of the incident near Beastfair Vaults in Pontefract on 28 September.
Mr Qurban passed away in hospital on 4 October.
West Yorkshire Police said a 31-year-old man had been arrested outside the pub but was later released on bail.
A police statement said: “Specially trained officers are supporting the family.
“Officers would continue to appeal to anyone who was in the pub at the time or Pontefract town centre that may have witnessed or have footage of the incident to come forward.”
