Two boys have been injured in a suspected fall at a building in Warwickshire, with one reported to be in a potentially life-threatening condition, according to police.

The incident happened on Sunday at 16:40 BST at a site on Masons Road in Stratford-upon-Avon.

A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police said both boys remained in hospital, adding one had suffered a serious leg injury.

Warwickshire Police said investigation were ongoing but it was believed the boys had fallen from the roof.

Insp Jake Kibblewhite said: "We remain in contact with the boys' parents and are supporting them at this difficult time.

"We would ask people not to speculate – particularly on social media – about what might have happened."

A third boy was also assessed at the scene by paramedics and was not believed to have suffered serious injuries.
