Boys charged after machete and zombie knife seized

Two teenage boys have been charged after a machete and zombie knife were seized in Nottingham.
The weapons were taken by officers who spotted suspicious behaviour in the Gregory Boulevard area of Hyson Green on Wednesday afternoon, the force said.
The boys, aged 16 and 17, were both charged with possessing a bladed article in public.
Nottinghamshire Police added the 17-year-old was remanded in custody after appearing before magistrates while the 16-year-old was released on bail ahead of a court hearing in March.
Zombie knives, external have long blades and often feature a serrated edge, spikes or more than two points.
