Roadworks to shut bus stop outside hospital
- Published
A key bus stop outside a hospital will be closed for three weeks to allow works to take place.
The QM02 bus stop in Derby Road, near the Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) in Nottingham, will shut on Monday.
It will be replaced by a temporary bus stop located at about 100m to the right of the existing stop.
The works aim to improve the layout of the existing bus stop by changing the line of the kerb, providing tactile warning paving and resurfacing the pavement.
A signed diversion route for pedestrians will be in place from the QMC roundabout along Derby Road service road and the crossing.
Signs will also be in place at the temporary bus stop for the following services:
Nottingham City Transport (NCT): 18, 18a, 18b, 18x 20, 34, 34C, 35, 36, N34
CT4N: L2
Trentbarton: Red Arrow, Indigo, I4
Lane closures will be in place during the second week of the programme, starting on Monday 11 November, to allow surfacing works to take place safely.
