A footballer injured during the stabbing attack on a London-bound train on Saturday has thanked fans for their support.
Scunthorpe United player Jonathan Gjoshe "sustained non-life-threatening injuries" when he was slashed across the bicep, the club told the BBC.
A fundraiser set up to help the player while he recovers from his injuries has amassed more than £4,000, with more than 240 people donating.
In a statement, released via the club, Gjoshe said: "I would like to thank the staff, the players and everyone who sent their well wishes."
"And to all the fans and everybody who has contributed towards the fundraising, I really appreciate everything," he said.
"From the bottom of my heart, thank you."
Matt Ellis, from the Iron Bru podcast, who set up the fundraiser, praised both Scunthorpe Utd fans and the wider football community for supporting the appeal.
Talking to the BBC earlier this week, he said: "There's always that kind of reassuring solidarity with Scunthorpe Utd fans if they know they can help out with a few quid for something like this."
Money raised will go towards any adjustments that need to be made in the form of care, transport costs and loss of earnings while he recovers from his injuries.
Scunthorpe United said, following surgery on Tuesday, the 22-year-old defender had been released from hospital and was now at home resting.
He is expected to make a full recovery, a spokesperson added.
Anthony Williams, 32, of no fixed abode, has been charged over the incident.
Mr Williams appeared at Peterborough Magistrates' Court on Monday.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Cambridge Crown Court on 1 December.
