Police investigating a suspected arson attack on flats in Stoke-on-Trent have appealed for any CCTV or dashcam footage people might have.

Staffordshire Police said they were called to reports of a fire at a two-storey block on Brookwood Drive in Meir, earlier this month.

Two possible suspects are being hunted, following the fire in the early hours of 11 September.

The force also said it was keen to speak to anyone who may have been driving through the Meir area between 03:00 BST and 04:00, on the day.

“We’re particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area at the times specified, or anyone who may have seen two individuals acting suspiciously,” a spokesperson said.

Anyone who lives in the local area, or has a business nearby, has been urged to check their CCTV cameras and doorbell footage.
