Motorway reopens after lorry crash

A stretch of the M5 has re-opened in both directions

A motorway has fully reopened after a lorry crashed through the central reservation and collided with two vehicles.

The M5 northbound between J15 (Almondsbury Interchange) and J14 (Thornbury and Fairfield) reopened on Saturday morning following the crash which happened at about 15:00 BST on Friday.

All traffic was at standstill on the northbound carriageway and one lane was shut on the southbound carriageway.

National Highways has confirmed all lanes in both directions have re-opened.
