Man charged with murder after body found in house

A man's body was found inside a property in Sawley Street, Leicester

A man has been charged with murder after a body was found in a house in Leicester.
Officers were called to Sawley Street by ambulance crews at 01:37 BST on Sunday and found a man, in his 30s, who had suffered a stab wound. He was declared dead at the scene.
Amritpal Singh, 44, of Sawley Street in Leicester, will appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court later.
Five other men, between 24 and 53, have been released on police bail after they were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
