Police urge motorists to avoid road after fire

A lorry fire has closed a section of a dual carriageway in Nottinghamshire, causing delays.
Police said a moving heavy goods vehicle caught fire on the A453 southbound, in Clifton, at about 11:25 GMT on Tuesday.
The occupants were unharmed, according to Nottinghamshire Police.
The force advised motorists to avoid the area and take alternate travel routes.
The southbound section of the road, between the A52 and J24 of the M1, re-opened just after 21:00 GMT.
