A chef and food influencer who has more than 120,000 followers on social media will visit Guernsey later this month.

James Strawbridge will be on the island for three days and will create a series of videos in partnership with Visit Guernsey.

The films will feature produce from Guernsey and his trip will include foraging with a group of pupils from La Houguette Primary School at Fort Grey and Camp de Rêves.

Hannah Beacom, chairwoman of the tourism management board, said the visit was an "excellent way of highlighting exactly what we have to offer to a national audience".

The chef will also visit initiatives by the Pollinator Project, which is a non-profit group of volunteers in Guernsey who focus on conservation.

Ms Beacom said: “Guernsey is a place flush with amazing produce and producers, and part of our strategy is to highlight the quality of what the island has to offer."
