Man dies in single-vehicle crash in Motherwell

The crash happened on Windmillhill Street at the junction with Airbles Road

A 52-year-old man has died in a single-vehicle crash in Motherwell.

The accident, involving a silver Toyota Corolla, happened on Windmillhill Street at the junction with Airbles Road, at about 13:10 on Wednesday.

The driver was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police Scotland has appealed for anyone with information, or dashcam footage, to contact them.
