Man arrested after town centre stabbings

A man has been arrested after he and another man were stabbed in Bournemouth.

Dorset Police said it had arrested one of the men on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent after the incident in Richmond Hill Drive at about 19:20 GMT.

Both men were taken to hospital but the force said it did not know their condition on Monday night.

A spokesperson said there would be an increased police presence in the area and anyone with information should speak to officers.
