"Sunrise on Aberdeen beach," says Malcolm Wilson.

Otterly adorable: "This is a photo I took in the seaweed on my recent trip to Mull," says Archie Garth. "Watching these otters play and have fun; a memory I will never forget."

A quacker of a shot: "Photographing a rainbow in Dalmuir Park, I was briefly aware of what I assumed to be a seagull or pigeon flying quickly through the frame," says Stuart Neville. "Only when I got home did I see that it was a duck, perfectly positioned and in a pleasing shape."

"This is a picture of my daughters enjoying a swim at Loch of Clunie," says Piers Fulton.

"This was taken in Glenfinnan and is the closest I have been to the magnificent white-tailed eagle," says Iain Donnachie. "We were blessed with some incredible opportunities to capture a few shots of this one perched in a pine tree overlooking the loch."

"I took this photo from my kitchen window, I have four red squirrels in garden all looking so different," says Ann Lockhart. "Do you think I should name this one Buttercup?"

"A perfect spot for a little grazing at Hushinish Beach, Harris," says Jane Kelly.

Stag night: This impressive image was captured out the front door of a beach house by Jack Stevenson at Applecross, to round off this week's selection in style.
