A homelessness charity in Jersey has collected more than 13,000 tins as part of its annual tinathon event.
The Shelter Trust invited islanders to donate tins and other non-perishable goods for World Homeless Day.
Organisers said the tinathon took place on Friday between 08:00 and 14:30 BST at West's Centre in St Helier, with donations from individuals, businesses, schools and churches.
The Shelter Trust said it had been "truly inspiring to witness such strong support for a wonderful cause".
It added: "The tins collected will not only help stock Shelter's kitchens but also go directly into food parcels for islanders in need.
"Last year alone, the trust distributed more than 1,500 food parcels locally."
The charity said it supports about 100 people every night across seven sites in and around St Helier.
Mike Powell, chair of trustees, said: "The tinathon is about much more than donating food, it is a chance for islanders to come together and support Jersey's largest homelessness charity.
"Homelessness in Jersey may not always be visible on our streets, but it is a reality for many, and it can happen to anyone.
"By supporting the tinathon, Islanders are helping us continue this vital work and ensuring that those in need are treated with dignity, compassion and hope."
