Man dies in single vehicle crash
The crash occurred at the A1 junction 49 slip road with the A168

A man in his twenties has died after a crash on the A1 in North Yorkshire on Thursday evening.
The incident happened on the southbound slip road of the A168/A1M junction, near Dishforth, at about 23:55 BST, according to North Yorkshire Police
An ambulance and air ambulance team attended but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was driving a blue BMW 1 Series and no other vehicles are believed to have been involved, a police spokesperson said.
Police have appealed for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage of the incident or the vehicle in the moments leading up to it to get in touch.
