A man in his 40s was shot in an alleyway in Wolverhampton

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Wolverhampton.
A man in his 40s was shot at on Minerva Lane, at about 23:00 BST on 18 September. The victim was treated in hospital and has since been discharged, police said.
The 33-year-old accused, from Birmingham, was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, West Midlands Police said.
Officers are continuing to investigate the incident and have called for anyone who has any information to get in touch.
