Three men have been charged following a ram-raid in Hull on Monday.

Two men, aged 20 and 46, have been charged with burglary and another man, aged 21, was charged with burglary and attempted burglary.

Police were called to Bricknell Avenue at about 04:25 GMT after receiving reports that a car had been driven into the shutters of a shop, causing damage.

The people in the car entered the shop and stole items before fleeing the scene in the vehicle, Humberside Police said.

All three men remain in custody and will appear at Hull Magistrates Court later.

A 15-year-old boy was also arrested in connection but has since been bailed.
