Temporary restrictions have been put in place in a Nottinghamshire town over anti-social behaviour concerns.

Police issued a dispersal order in Arnold which took effect for 48 hours from 19:00 GMT on Wednesday.

It comes after Nottinghamshire Police said it received reports of "young people behaving in an anti-social manner in recent days", with a number of incidents under investigation.

The order will cover the town centre and surrounding parks to target groups "perceived as causing a nuisance or likely to cause nuisance", the force said.

The order gives officers enhanced power to disperse people in specified areas.
