A male was taken to hospital after he was hit by a police car in Bradford.
West Yorkshire Police said the incident happened on Highgate Road at about 09:05 GMT on Saturday after officers were called to a disturbance outside a property.
The police vehicle hit the person concerned, whose age has not been given, as it arrived at the scene.
He suffered cuts to his hands and was taken to hospital for further assessment, the force said.
Road closures were put in place and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated, officers added.
