The 2024 World Pipe Band champions have been crowned after two days of competition in Glasgow.

Inveraray and District triumphed ahead of Field Marshall Montgomery from Northern Ireland and Canada's Simon Fraser University.

It is the third time that the Argyll and Bute pipe band have won the coveted title, following previous successes in 2017 and 2019.

More than 40,000 people enjoyed the spectacle, which featured over 7,000 pipers and drummers from 204 bands.
