A man has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder after a man was shot and seriously injured in Coventry.

The victim was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound in the early hours of 13 September and continues to recover from his injuries, West Midlands Police said.

Officers had established that a car park on Far Gosford Street was the site of the shooting, the force added.

Mohammad Ali Khan, 31, has been charged and remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Coventry Magistrates' Court on Friday.
