Man charged after man in 80s suffers head injuries

A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after a man in his 80s suffered serious head injuries.

Police were made aware of a verbal altercation that was reported to have become physical at Church Lane in Snitterby at 13:20 GMT on Tuesday.

A 53-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday and charged with grievous bodily harm on Wednesday evening.

He was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
