Man charged with child sex offences

A man has been charged with child sex offences on the Isle of Wight and will appear before magistrates on Wednesday.
Ryan Loveday, 20, of Valetta Way, Rochester, Kent, was arrested at the Travelodge in Lind Street, Ryde, on Sunday.
Police said he has been charged with engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl between 13 and 15, engaging in non-penetrative activity with a girl between 13 and 15 and attempted sexual assault by penetration of a girl aged 13 and over.
Mr Loveday was remanded in custody ahead of appearing at Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court in Newport.
