Arrest over suspected arson at pub

A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a pub and several cars caught fire.

Emergency crews were sent to a pub in Church Street, Bilston, Wolverhampton, just before 04:00 BST after reports of a fire which damaged the front of the building, West Midlands Police said.

Shortly afterwards, seven vehicles caught fire in nearby Shale Street.

A 41-year-old man was arrested in the area and detained, the force said and added he would be questioned in due course.
