Four arrests after teenager stabbed in Surrey

A 17-year-old boy has been stabbed in a serious assault in Salfords, police said.

Surrey officers were called to an address on Brighton Road at 01:12 BST on Thursday, following reports of a fight.

Police arrested four people – a 15-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy, a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl – on suspicion of attempted murder. All remain in police custody.

The victim was taken to hospital with a stab wound and is receiving treatment.

Police said they wanted to speak to a taxi driver who might have witnessed the incident, but would like anyone with information to come forward.
