Man dies in car and e-scooter crash

A man has been arrested after a crash between a car and an e-scooter in which a man died.
The driver of the car did not stop at the scene of the crash on Masefield Drive, Tamworth, Staffordshire, at about 19:30 GMT on Wednesday, police said.
The 47-year-old man died at the scene.
The 28-year-old man, from Tamworth, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remained in custody, the force said.
