Three murder arrests after man shot dead

A man in his 20s died at the scene, police said

Two men and a teenage boy have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was shot dead in what police believe was a "targeted attack."

Officers were called to the shooting on Well Lane in Blakenall, Walsall, just before 17:00 BST on Monday.

The victim, a man in his 20s, died at the scene, while another man was wounded and treated for injuries which are not life-threatening.

West Midlands Police said two men, aged 22 and 18, and a 17-year-old boy have been detained and remained in custody while inquiries continue.
