Rail passengers are facing disruption due to a line closure between Clifton Down in Bristol and Severn Beach.

GWR said trains running between the stations would be cancelled, or revised to start or terminate at Clifton Down.

The operator said there had been a points failure between Avonmouth and Severn Beach.

Disruption is expected until 14:00 BST.

GWR said eight-seater taxis were available for customers travelling between Clifton Down and Severn Beach.

It said the pick-up point was next to the Sainsbury's adjacent to the station.

Alternatively, customers can use their tickets onboard Stagecoach Buses on routes 10 and 12 or First buses on routes 3, 4, and 41.
