One man has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a lorry, tractor and a van on the outskirts of Peterborough.

It happened on the B1095 Milk and Water Drove at about 06:30 BST.

The road was closed while police, fire and ambulance crews, including an air ambulance, attended to the scene.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and the Magpas Air Ambulance response car were sent to the scene. One patient, an adult male, was transported to Peterborough City Hospital for further treatment.”
