Two arrested after man burned in house fire

Two men have been arrested after a man suffered serious burns in a house fire in Bradford.

The fire broke out in the early hours of Thursday on the ground floor of the property in Hollingwood Lane, Horton Bank Top.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service called police to the scene shortly after 05:00 GMT.

West Yorkshire Police said one man had been taken to hospital with serious burns and two men had been arrested in connection with the fire.

The force said a cordon was in place at the scene while police and the fire service investigated the circumstances.

A spokesperson said anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the early hours of Thursday should contact police.
