Resident's bin stacking 'a load of rubbish'

A resident reached "new heights" in an effort to get their waste collected, Braintree District Council said

A resident's innovative effort to pile up their waste has been branded "a load of rubbish" in more ways than one.

However, Braintree District Council did acknowledge that the wheelie bin with black refuse bags stacked carefully on top was a "great balancing act".

The Essex-based authority's policy only permits its waste workers to collect rubbish contained within the wheelie bin.

"We thought new heights had been reached, but then our waste team sent us this picture," it joked on social media.
