Driver arrested after lorry overturns

A lorry driver has been arrested after the HGV they were driving overturned, leading to the closure of a road in Dorset.

The B3075 had to be closed both ways between the A31 Worlds End Pub at Almer and Morden Park Corner after the lorry ended up on its side shortly after 06:50 GMT.

The force said the lorry driver had been arrested for a traffic related offence. He was not seriously injured.

Traffic was being diverted via the A350 or A31 to Bere Regis, and on to the A35 while the lorry was recovered.
