Murder arrest after 84-year-old woman found dead
The woman's body was found at a property in Wood Street, Ryde, on Saturday, police said

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of an elderly woman on the Isle of Wight.
Police were called by South Central Ambulance Service to Wood Street, Ryde, after the 84-year-old woman was found dead on Saturday at about 13:10 BST.
The force said the woman's death at the property was being treated as "unexplained".
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said a 59-year-old man from Lake was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been released on police bail until 15 September.
