A man with a suspected broken leg was rescued from a cove in Cornwall, the RNLI has said.

The Lizard RNLI posted on Facebook, external it was called out to Caerthillian Cove at 12:53 BST on Wednesday to reports a person had fallen.

Rescuers said coastguard crews from Porthoustock, Porthleven and Mullion were also called out to help.

The RNLI said the man was taken by helicopter to hospital.
