Man dies after motorcycle crash in Belfast

The incident on the Castlereagh Road in Belfast

A man in his 30s has died following a motorcycle collision in east Belfast.

Police said the man, who was involved in the incident on the Castlereagh Road on Sunday night, was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.

No other vehicles were involved.

The Castlereagh Road, which was closed for a number of hours, has now fully reopened to traffic.

Police have appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage to contact them.
