Man dies after being hit by falling tree

A man has died after a tree fell on him in private woodland, police said.
Emergency services attended the incident on Barnsley Road in Upper Cumberworth near Huddersfield at about 14:10 BST on Sunday.
West Yorkshire Police said the man had received medical attention at the scene but died a short time later.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed a number of resources had been dispatched to the scene, including an ambulance and the air ambulance.
A Kirklees Council spokesperson added: "We were very sad to hear of the fatal accident that happened in a private woodland over the weekend.
"Our thoughts are with the friends and loved ones of the man that lost his life."
They confirmed council officers had attended the scene, at the request of the police to assess trees in the surrounding area to make sure none of them posed an imminent danger.
"We will continue to offer any assistance required," the spokesperson said.
