New venture: Professional athletes Tom Lammonby, who plays for Somerset County Cricket Club, and Sam Maunder, who plays for Exeter Chiefs, have opened a new eatery, 9|15 café. Many of Tom's fellow cricketers attended the launch in support of their teammate, including Lewis Gregory, the Somerset captain, and bowler Kasey Aldridge.

Dragon's Lair: The play park at the Bishop's Palace in Wells could be extended. It would include a water sculpture, a living canopy of plants and babbling boulders, expelling small jets of water into a shallow paddling pool.
